QUADRILLE DES BÛCHERONS: 2ÈME FIGURE. The second figure of J.O. LaMadeleine's six-part "Bûcherons" quadrille. LaMadeleine researcher Jean Duval finds the second strain of LaMadeliene's piece cognate with the polka "Girl with the Blue Dress On (1) (The)" or "Babes in the Woods (1)" (parts reversed). Duval also finds the second strain to be the same as that of Isidore Soucy's "Quadrille Laurier 1ère partie," recorded the year before LaMadeleine's 1928 release [1].
