QUADRILLE NATIONAL 5ÈME PARTIE. French-Canadian, Quadrille or Polka (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Soucy researcher Jean Duval believes this quadrille part, like some of the the other parts in this set, was derived from a song air. The second strain was used used again by Soucy in his "Quadrille des ancêtres 5ème partie," recorded in 1930[1].
