REEL À TI' PÈRE [1]. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Soucy researcher Jean Duval notes that this is Soucy's first recording with his nephew Romauld accompanying him on the piano (Romauld was the son of Soucy's older brother, Joseph Thomas Soucy 1895-1964). Ti' Père is a nickname for someone close, often a family member, perhaps, says Duval, for his brother^[1].

J.O. LaMadeleine's "Reel à Ti' père (2)" is a different melody.
