REEL [70]. The title was simply "Breakdown" in Bob Christeson's Old Time Fiddler's Repertory vol. 1 (1973, No 36), from the playing of fiddler Bob Walters of Burt County, Nebraska, on the border with Iowa. Walters was recorded playing the tune in September, 1950, at a family reunion that Christeson attended. The collector noted that Walters played many tunes in succession and seldom announced any of them.
