REEL DE L'ASSOMPTION.   French-Canadian, Reel (2/4 or cut time).  G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB.  "Reel de l'Assomption" was recorded in 1935 by carpenter and fiddler Isaïe Marsolais who was born in 1877 in the community of Assomption in Lanaudière.
