REEL DES VIEUX GARÇONS (Old Boys' Reel). French-Canadian, Reel (2/4 or cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune was recorded in October, 1928, by Montreal musicians Isidore Soucy (1899-1962) and accordion player Donat Lafleur (1892-1973), who both lived in the same neighborhood in the city, Hochelaga[1]. The record was released in January, 1929.
