REEL DU LABOUREUR [1]. AKA and see "Reel de l'enfantà cette," "Reel de Valentin," "Reel du grand-père (Le)," "Reel Matane," "Speed the Plow (1)." French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Reel du laboureur" is one of several Quebecois versions of the venerable and widespread British reel "Speed the Plow (1)." Boulay's rendition stays fairly faithfully to the original.
