Canada, Acadian Peninsula. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is sourced to Acadian Peninsula (New Brunswick) fiddler Pat Gauvin. It was recorded as "Reel à Pat" by Le Goulet, New Brunswick, fiddler Merel Chiasson (1941-2019). New Brunswick fiddler Robert Lavoie identifies it as a derivation of the Scottish reel "Money Musk."
