RIVER TAY, THE. Scottish, Reel (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "River Tay" is a reel from the sole publication of fiddler-composer John Clark, who dedicated his volume to the Musical Society of Perth. Unfortunately, there is no further information to be had on Clark (John Glen and David Baptie are silent).

The Wikipedia:River Tay is the longest river in Scotland, and flows through Perth and Dundee on its way to the Firth of Tay.
