ROSEMARY LANE (Lána Rosemary). AKA and see "McCann's Jig." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Sean Quinn finds that “Rosemary Lane” was composed by Joseph "J.S." Crofts who wrote several books of dance music that were published by Waltons of Dublin in the late 1950s. "McCann's Jig" is the name Glasgow piper Pat McNulty used for the tune in his 1960's Dance Music of Ireland collection.
