SCOTLAND [2]. American, Reel (cut or whole time). USA, Kentucky. A Mixolydian. "Scotland [2]" was composed by mandolinist Bill Monroe [1] (1911-1996), the "father of bluegrass," and recorded in April, 1958 with Kenny Baker and Bobby Hicks on twin fiddles.
