SCOT'S LAMENT, A. Scottish, Slow Air (3/4 time). Composed by biography:James Oswald (1711-1769), an expatriate Scottish cellist and composer in London. It appears in Oswald’s Second Collection of Curious Scots Tunes of 1744, and his Caledonian Pocket Companion, Book 2 (1760). .
