Source for notated version : - Suffolk melodeon player Oscar Woods, who named the tune after a renowned earlier melodeon player from Darsham named Ernest Seaman (b. 1899, Walpole) [Callaghan]. Oscar Woods was an older melodeon player from East Anglia who taught members of the Old Hat Band several tunes.
