SEASIDE POLKA. AKA - "Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-aye." American, Polka (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The title appears in a repertoire list of Maine fiddler Mellie Dunham. The elderly Dunham was Henry Ford's champion fiddler in the late 1920's. The tune was collected in the 1930's in Mississippi, the informant noting that it was learned about 8 years prior from a banker named Mr. Jennings of Vicksburg, Mississippi [Bolick]. Bolick (2015) finds "Women Wear no Clothes at All", recorded by Bob Larkin on OKeh 45349 (78 RPM), to be a related tune.
