SET OF SCOTS QUADRILLES, FIGURE 2. AKA - "L'Ete." Scottish, Quadrille part (2/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "L'Ete" is traditionally the name assigned to the second figure of a quadrille set. This quadrille part was composed by Archibald Dunbar of Northfield, who contributed a dozen tunes to the first collection (c. 1835) of Elgin fiddler, composer and music teacher James Taylor. Taylor dedicated his volume to Lady Dunbar of Northfield.
