Setauket is a fiddle tune named after the town of Setauket, Long Island, New York. The tune is attributed to Anthony Clapp (1749-1816), a black fiddler who lived in the area.
The tune was collected by painter William Sidney Mount (1807-1868), and a notated version was included in his manuscript collection.
