SILVER BELLS SCHOTTISCHE [1]. AKA and see "Francie Mooney's German," "Kerry Mills Barn Dance (2)," "McCusker's Barndance," "Paddy Candy." Schottische (cut or 4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. There have been several different tunes called "Silver Bell Schottische". "Silver Bell Schottische (1)" was entered into the c. 1900 McBrien-Rogers music manuscript of County Leitrim. Researcher Conor Ward finds the schottische the basis for several barn dance tunes that go by the names "Kerry Mills Barn Dance (2)," "McCusker's Barndance," and others, although no particular name seems dominant.
