SLEEPY EYED JOE [2]. American, Reel (cut time). E Major (Phillips): D Major (Hall/Addis). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. The version of the tune played currently by the Foghorn String Band is somewhat distanced (and simplified), but cognate with John Ashby's version.
