SLOPES OF SLIEVE GULLION, THE. AKA and see "Lá na Feise.". Irish, Slip Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A modern composition by Paul Murphy. Slieve Gullion is a near-2,000 foot high mountain in south Armagh. It is sometimes referred to as Slieve Fuad, after a Druid king, and has a crater lake, Loch Liath, and a cairn at the summit. The cairn is the burial place of the mythical chieftain Cuailnge.
