SMART GUY. American, "Straight Jig" (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A 'straight jig' was a syncopated duple-time melody similar to a schottische, popular in the last decades of the 19th century with dancers for variety and minstrel stage performances.
