SPANISH AIR [1]. English, Waltz (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "Spanish Air" was entered as tune No. 16 in the 1858 music manuscript collection of Feltwell, Norfolk, East Anglia, musician William Clarke, who was probably a flute player. The first strain of "Spanish Air" corresponds to the third of a set of three "Waltz On's" printed by Peter Kennedy in his Fiddler's Tune Book vol. 1 (1952, No. 75).
