STONEWALL JACKSON [3]. American, Reel (cut time). USA, southern Illinois. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Harrison): AABBBB (Canote). "Stonewall Jackson [3]" (no relation to other tunes by that name) is from the repertory of fiddler Harvey "Pappy" Taylor of Effingham, southern Illinois, recorded in the field by Gary Harrison (1954-2012). The second strain is repeated four times by the Canote Brothers (Seattle), who play a 'C' chord at the cadence of the second repetition of the part (even thought the same melody is played).
