STORYTELLER, THE (An scealaide). AKA and see "Flora MacDonald (Jig)," "Island of Mull (The)," "Maid of Glenconnel (The)," "Mrs. MacDonald (1)." Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was attributed to Major Montgomery, the Earl of Eglintoun, by the Gows, who printed it in 1817. See note for "Island of Mull " for more information.
