Source for notated version : - "McFadden" [O’Neill]. Fiddle player John McFadden was originally from near Westport, County Mayo, and was a member of the Irish Music Club at the beginning of the 20th century. He was musically illiterate, but had a keen ear, a large repertoire and an ability to perform spontaneous variations and improvisations greatly admired by O'Neill.
