TOM DOWD'S FAVOURITE (Rogha Thomáis Uí Dhubhda). AKA and see "John Egan's Reel (3)," "Maide Fuinnseoige (An)," "Many Things I Saw." Irish, Reel. E Minor ('A' part) & G Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is related to “Ashplant (1) (The)].” Compare also with the very similar, likely cognate, "Drag Her Around the Road (1)." Charlie Lennon and Mick O'Connor recorded the tune as "John Egan's Reel (3)" in 1981.
