TOMMY PEOPLES' (REEL) [1]. AKA and see “Frankie Kennedy's,” “Jenny Nettle's Fancy,” “Paul Montegue's Reel,” “Tim Dillon's.” Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Breathnach): AAB (Taylor). Alternate titles include “Frankie Kennedy's” and “Jackie Daly's,” for the famous Irish flute and accordion players, respectively. Fiddler Eileen Ivers recorded it as “Paul Montegue's Reel” on the first “Cherish the Ladies” album, but it was first recorded in the early 1980’s by Cathal McConnell (on solo tin whistle) and the Boys of the Lough as “Tommy Peoples’”.
