TRÍ IS A RIAN, AN. AKA - “Tí is a Rian (An).” AKA and see "Sands (The)," "James Morrison's (Hornpipe)," "John Quinn's (2)," "Miss McLeod's Hornpipe." Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). A distanced version of the reel “Miss McLeod's Reel (1).” The tune in the repertory of County Kerry fiddle master Pádraig O'Keefe, recorded in 1948 playing it in a set entitled "(John) Quinn's." The title for the tune, the second in the set, is given as "The Sands."
