Composed by biography:Owen Chapman (1919-2003) of Chapman's Hollow, Canada, Pike County, southeastern Kentucky, for his contemporary, Tennessee fiddler Howard "Howdy" Forrester [1] (1922-1987). The tune was captured during a home recording session in 1999.
