TURLUTTE ACADIENNE. AKA and see "Reel du Baobab (Le)." French-Canadian, Reel (whole time). G Major (‘A’ part) & G Mixolydian (‘B’ part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A turlutte is a kind of mouth-music similar to Scottish port-a-beul, with syllables sung instead of words.

Source for notated version : - flute player Daniel Roy who found this ‘mouth-music’ tune on an old Acadian archive recording from the La Mecque area of New Brunswick [Remon & Bouchard].
