UP AND AWAY [3]. AKA and see "Casey's," "McKenna's Polka No. 1," "Suas Leat." Irish, Polka. G Major. Standard tuning (fddler). AABB. This polka is the first tune in a medley of two on an influential 78 RPM recording of the tune made by flute player John McKenna (1880-1947), originally from County Leitrim (see also “Up and Away (1)”, the 2nd tune in the medley).
County Sligo fiddler Michael Coleman recorded the polka in New York in 1924, the first tune in a medley entitled "Casey's."
