VICTOIRE, LA. French-Canadian, March (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Researcher Jean Duval thinks the title may be a reference to the end of World War I. He finds the reel in J.A. Boucher's 1927 unpublished music manuscript, precursor to his later 1933 published collection, under the title"La canadienne."
