WALTZ QUADRILLE [2], THE. Canadian, Waltz. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. The tune is credited to Canadian fiddler John Burt by Jarman (copyright 1933 by Thomas Burt & Co.), although this may be refer to the arrangement and not the tune. The Waltz-Quadrille was a ballroom dance that enjoyed some popularity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, often employed as the last number on every dance program; the good-night waltz.
