WHISKEY JIG. AKA and see “Harbor Lights Jig (2),” "Marie's Family." Canadian, Jig. Canadal; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABCC (Dunlay & Greenberg): AABB'CC (Dunlay & Reich): AA’BB’CC (Cranford, Perlman). A popular jig among Cape Breton fiddlers. The alternate names for the tune, “Harbor Lights Jig (2)” and “Marie's Family,” are Cape Breton titles (the former from The Five MacDonalds, the latter from Dan Joe MacInnis).
