WHITE MOUNTAIN REEL. American, Canadian (originally); Reel. USA, New Hampshire. The tune was claimed by New Hampshire fiddler Larry Riendeau as "White Mountain Reel," but it is actually a version of Cecil McEachern's (1926-2014) "Happy Acres Two-Step." McEachern, originally from Prince Edward Island, was a long-time member of Don Messer's band The Islanders.
