WREN HORNPIPE [1], THE. Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (O'Neill). Reminiscent of "Cuckoo's Nest." Paul de Grae finds the opening phrase is similar to that of collector George Petrie's "t-Sean Bhan Bhocht (An)" (Sean bean boct (1) (An)", or P.W. Joyce's "Bhean Bhocht (An)" (Poor Woman (The)), but the remainder of the tune is different[1].
