YOUGHAL HARBOUR [5]. Irish, Reel (cut time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (Fiddle). AABB. Similarities to "Rigney's." Both tunes have been attributed to accordion and fiddle player Paddy O’Brien (1922–1991), Nenagh, County Tippeary. Neither tune, however, appears in Eileen O'Brien's The Definitive Collection of the Music of Paddy O’Brien 1922–1991 (2009). O'Brien did record "Rigney's" on his 1973 album with fiddler Séamus Connolly, "The Banks of the Shannon." The "Youghal Harbour" title for the tune was used by the group Cherish the Ladies on their album "The Back Door" (1992).
