Annotation talk:Greenfields of America (1)

I think the annotations may confuse two separate melodies/songs. The "Green Fields of America [or Canada]" song that Paddy Moloney is quoted about is most likely the multi-verse song of emigration recorded by, among others, Paddy Tunney and Paul Brady. The melody of that song is not related to that of the reel "The Green Fields of America," which is based on the air used for "Molly Brannigan" and other songs.
