BUNKER HILL [5]. Old-Time, March (cut time). USA, Arkansas. A Major. AEae tuning. AA'BB'. This version is similar to the "Bunker Hill" played by fiddler Absie Morrison, whose family, according to Drew Beisswenger (2008), may have brought the tune to the Ozarks. Many Ozark fiddlers link the tune to the Battle of Bunker Hill of the American Revolution.

Source for notated version: Kermit Moody (1909-1977, Mountain View, Stone County, Arkansas) [Beisswenger & McCann].

Printed source: Beisswenger & McCann (Ozarks Fiddle Music), 2008; p. 97.
