Rocky Road to Jordan

I did a quick search on John Armstrong mentioned above. He was most likely born 27 October 1848 in IL and died 8 January 1926 at age 77 in Dallas, TX. In 1920 he was living in Oakford, Menard Co, IL and working as a farm implement merchant. His TX death certificate states that he was born in IL, was an "implement man," and that his parents, John Armstrong & Hanna Jones, were born in KY.
