Jilson Setters was a pseudonym for James William Day who was born 13 May 1861 in Morehead, Rowan C, KY and died 6 May 1942 in Ashland, Boyd Co, KY. He was sometimes called "Blind Bill" as he was blind earlier in his life and his sight was restored by an operation.
