S:"From Scots fifer David P. Henderson." Bayard had the tune from southwest Pa.
S:fifer Hiram Horner (Monessan, Westmoreland County) in 1944 and remarked it
S:was from a "stage" Irish song, known in Pennsylvania as a folk song, sometimes
S:called "Dolan's Ass." Horner was from a long line of fifers, including his grandfather
S:and great-grandfather.
