This appears to be quite distanced from other "Jenny Put the Kettle On" tunes, which often, more or less, have melodic material derived from the tune that is better-known as "Molly (or Polly) Put the Kettle On." It is only at the end of the second of Wallace's tune that there is any hint of resemblance.
