I'm a fiddler from Brisbane, Australia, and have played traditional Celtic/folk music for over 35 years, particularly with my band, the Rantan Bush Band. Though my specialty is Scottish fiddle playing, I also play tin whistle, guitar and mandolin. Apart from my lifelong interest in folk music, I also play alto sax for a big band. In 2010, I released a printed collection of 'fiddle' tunes called "The Session Tunebook Collection". In compiling that collection, I was greatly assisted by Andy's "Fiddler's Companion" which was an invaluable source of alternative names and a way to compare different versions of tunes.
