Violin Maker and player, Mostly interested in the Scottish style, but play in an Irish band.

Self taught after Grade 3 ABRSM and picked up styles from Elgin, Skye and Novascotia fiddling whilst still playing duets and in orchestra to keep my hand in.

As a violin maker I trained in Newark for 4 years, then apprenticed for 3 years and am now a Master Luthier at Steep Hill Strings in Lincoln. I make violins cello and violas.
