Sarah has been teaching fiddle for over 15 years now in the Blount County, TN area... With over 40 students Monthly, she stays busy at that. She also has been performing and writing songs with her husband of 21 years, Jeff Barbra. Jeff and Sarah are 1st PLACE WINNERS of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MERLEFEST. They performed their winning song, "When I Come Home" at Merlefest for a crowd of 50,000+. Their duo album, "The Barb Hollow Sessions" was released on January 1, 2004 and received rave reviews around the country... The album debuted at # 6 on the Roots Music Report National Bluegrass Airplay Charts. The single, "Bury Me In The Red Clay" peaked at # 12 on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Chart for November 2004. It was on the charts for 8 months. Jeff and Sarah released a gospel album, "Family Singing" in 2012.

They produce and host two radio programs for WFIV Knoxvilles Independent Radio. "Behind the Barn" is broadcast in front of a live audience every Thursday from Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria in Maryville TN. "In the Spirit with Jeff & Sarah" is an eclectic spiritual Sunday morning program, with uplifting songs from across all musical genres.

They have completed a new EP, "Sweet Creation" due to be released April 2018.
