Classically trained on the violin from the age of 8-18, stopped playing at that point. Picked it up again Dec '11 at the request of a friend, who needed a fiddle player for an Irish band. So... it's been a bit over a year, still trying to turn my (new) violin into a fiddle and loving the process... SO much to learn, but enjoying every step! Still playing classical pieces, can't ever get away from that... :)

Besides fiddling?? Married & mother of 2 girls... registered nurse in Labor & Delivery. Animal lover, prefer to be seaside to almost anything other than being at Disney.
