I currently live in Olympia Washington, where there is a strong community of Quebecois and Irish musicians. I have been playing traditional tunes since the mid eighties when I started playing the Irish harp and Irish repertoire. Shortly after that I began playing for a Morris team on the button accordion and got interested in English country dance music and dance. I began contra dancing regularly in the early nineties after I met the man who would become my husband. When we moved to Olympia, we began playing Quebecois tunes with fellow enthusiasts. I have also loved singing since I was a child, and have participated in and let pub sings both in Olympia and Seattle. I performed for some years with a Sea Shanty group. I also recorded one solo album including a selection of all of the above in 2004.
