LOCHRYNACH. AKA - "Loch Rynach." AKA and see "Comical Corner (2)." Scottish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Cape Breton fiddler Johnny Wilmot's "Hughie Shorty's" has similarities. The melody appears in Northumbrian musician William Vickers' 1770 music manuscript collection as "Commicall [sic.] corner/Comical Corner (2)," but the title "Lochrynach" has not yet been found in collections older than Marshall's 1822 volume.
