SEPARATION OF SOUL AND BODY. Irish, Air (cut time). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Petrie notes this elegiac air is attributed to blind harper biography:Turlough O’Carolan (1670-1738), though does specify by which authority. It was first printed by John & William Neal in Dublin in 1724 in their Collection of Most Celebrated Irish Tunes, but without naming a composer.
