MACLEAN SCOTS MEASURE. AKA and see Mr. McLaine's Scotch-Measure." Scottish, Scottish Measure. The melody appears in the Blaikie MS., and the title is the earliest use of the term "Scots Measure" (Emmerson, 1971). There was a noted dancing master in Edinburgh named Maclean.
